Malcolm Macpherson
Malcolm Macpherson is an accomplished Indigenous lawyer and negotiator whose career is centered on advancing economic opportunity, rights recognition, and the flourishing of Indigenous communities across Canada.
Malcolm earned his law degree from the University of Toronto, where he developed a strong foundation in business law and Indigenous law. With more than two decades of experience, he has built one of Canada’s leading legal practices in the Indigenous space. He specializes in the intersection of resource and energy development, land and treaty rights, governance, and environmental and regulatory issues.

With a background that spans executive leadership roles, entrepreneurial insight, and comprehensive legal practice, Mike brings a breadth of experience that positions him uniquely to advance the economic flourishing of First Nations, both on and off reserve.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mike held executive roles with technology firms in Vancouver, Seattle, and San Diego, with responsibilities for sales and operations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
