Tyra Shupe

With 15 years of experience as a paralegal, Tyra brings a strong foundation in litigation and a deep understanding of legal procedures to her role as a Litigation Paralegal at MacPherson Law LLP. For the past 5.5 years, she has focused on First Nations and environmental rights, supporting matters that intersect with significant legal, environmental, and community interests.

Prior to specializing in this area of law, Tyra spent seven years with the Court of King’s Bench, where she developed extensive knowledge of the Rules of Court and the practical application of legal procedures. This experience continues to shape her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and her commitment to providing strong support to both clients and counsel throughout complex litigation.

Outside of work, Tyra is an avid cyclist and rides whenever and wherever she can. She can often be found exploring bike trails and trail networks throughout her home city. During the winter months, Tyra shares her passion for curling by teaching both adults and children at her local curling club.
