Marisa Shepard

Marisa is a dedicated Legal Assistant supporting the firm’s Indigenous and commercial litigation practices. She brings a broad range of experience across civil litigation.

Marisa provides comprehensive and dependable legal support, including preparing court filings, organizing and managing extensive volumes of documentation, and coordinating file and litigation logistics. She approaches each matter with professionalism, attention to detail, and efficiency, and is committed to providing conscientious support to both clients and colleagues. Known for her collaborative and approachable nature, Marisa is always willing to assist wherever needed.

Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, where she majored in Criminology and completed an extended minor in Psychology, while concurrently earning a Certificate in Legal Studies. She also holds a Certificate in Legal Administration from Okanagan College. In January 2027, Marisa will begin the Paralegal Certificate Program at Capilano University as she continues to expand her legal education and professional expertise.

Outside of work, Marisa enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with her partner, friends, and family.
